Russia’s Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) has temporarily banned supplies to Russia from two Belarusian enterprises — the Lida Milk Canning Plant and Smaliavichy Minsk CJSC.
Coliform bacteria were repeatedly detected in dry dairy products from the Lida enterprise, while yeast was found in cottage cheese from Smaliavichy.
The restrictions have been in effect since May 9, Rosselkhoznadzor reports.
