The Ministry of Finance has completed the placement of all dollar-denominated bond issues launched this year.
In the first quarter, the ministry began placing the 357th and 362nd issues of dollar-denominated bonds. Each issue had a volume of $50 million. The annual interest rate was set at 2.9%. The issues differed in their maturity dates.
They had been listed in the BCSE system since spring. There was no demand for the securities for several months, but at the end of July and beginning of August, market participants completed the purchase of both issues.
