The Council of Ministers of Belarus has updated the program for developing infrastructure for charging electric vehicles.
The government press service said the program was updated in light of the new version of the decree “On Stimulating the Use of Electric Vehicles.”
Under the program, “Beltelecom” has been designated as the second state operator responsible for installing and maintaining charging stations.
The resolution also updated the list of locations and types of charging stations to be installed by “Belorusneft” through 2028. The list of locations for charging stations for urban electric transport was also revised.
The resolution also defines lists of slow electric vehicle charging stations planned for installation in 2026-2030 to create a state charging network, as well as electric charging complexes (super-fast electric charging complexes) planned for construction in 2029-2030 by “Belorusneft.”
