Volha Zazulinskaya has stepped down as the Representative of the United Transitional Cabinet for Social Policy. She will head the Belarusian Democratic Mission in Ukraine, the UTC reports. The mission was previously headed by Sviatlana Shatsilina.
In her new position, Zazulinskaya plans to meet with Belarusians in Ukraine, focusing on both military personnel and civilians.
The head of the mission identified legalization as a priority.
“A very important issue is legalization: everything related to Resolution No. 141, difficulties with extending temporary residence permits and situations when people’s passports expire. If we are talking about Belarusians, this is probably the main priority,” Zazulinskaya said.
The mission will also work on launching working groups in several areas agreed upon during Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya‘s visit to Ukraine.
