The Interior Ministry’s press service released interim results of the “Motorcyclist” preventive operation, which the traffic police are conducting in Belarus from Aug. 6 to 16.
During the first four days of the operation (Aug. 6-9), about 748 violations committed by motorcycle riders were identified. Ten people were detained for driving under the influence of alcohol, 57 unlicensed drivers were barred from driving, and 74 motorcycles were taken to secured parking lots.
The Interior Ministry’s press service reminded that the operation is continuing with the use of drones and a public security monitoring system.
