Forecasters have issued a red weather hazard alert for Sunday and Monday.
“During the day on June 28 (Sunday), maximum air temperatures across most of the country will range from +30°C to +34°C, reaching +35°C to +38°C in some areas and in many parts of the west. In Minsk, temperatures will range from +31°C to +33°C. During the day on June 29 (Monday), temperatures across most of the country will reach +35°C to +39°C, with +30°C to +34°C in some areas. In Minsk, temperatures will range from +33°C to +35°C,” the warning said.
An orange weather hazard alert will remain in effect on Friday and Saturday.
