About 3,000 foreign nationals have been deported from Belarus this year. Belarusian Interior Minister Ivan Kubrakou announced this on 20 December while speaking to reporters at the opening ceremony of the renovated administrative building of the Citizenship and Migration Department of the Homiel Regional Executive Committee’s Internal Affairs Directorate.
“Since the beginning of the year, measures in the form of deportation, either voluntary or forced, have been applied to three thousand foreign nationals,” he said, according to the Interior Ministry’s press service.
