Aliaksandr Lukashenka is meeting with Myanmar President Min Aung Hlaing, who arrived in Belarus today for an official visit.

According to Lukashenka’s press service, the meeting is taking place in a “home-like informal setting.” The sides are holding one-on-one talks today, followed by an informal dinner.

“We have been cooperating with you very intensively lately. And I want to assure you that the Belarusian side will deliver on everything we have agreed on,” Lukashenka said.

“We have opened all doors to you and your businesspeople, so please take a look. Whatever interests you and whatever we can do, from agriculture to the military-industrial complex, we will do everything we can for you,” he added.

The official part of the visit will take place on Aug. 21 at the Palace of Independence. Lukashenka and Min Aung Hlaing will hold talks there, followed by a meeting of delegations from the two countries.
