Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukrainian drones had attacked the Syzran oil refinery in Russia today.
“Another one of our long-range sanctions against Russian oil refining, and we are continuing in this direction. This time, the Syzran refinery, located more than 800 kilometres from our border. I thank the soldiers of the Unmanned Systems Forces and the Special Operations Forces for their precision,” the Ukrainian president wrote on social media.
Russian authorities have not reported any damage to the refinery but said that two people were killed as a result of the drone raid.
