A passenger car and a truck collided this morning in the Maladziečna district. Two people were killed, the Interior Ministry’s press service reported.
The accident occurred at around 5 a.m. on the R-28 Minsk–Maladziečna–Narač road near the village of Krasnaye.
According to preliminary information, a 25-year-old woman driving a Fiat lost control on a bend in the road, veered into the oncoming lane, and collided head-on with a Mercedes truck driven by a 47-year-old man.
“The driver of the passenger car and her passenger, a 34-year-old resident of the Maladziečna district, were killed,” the press service said.
Judging by the photos, the truck overturned after the impact.
An investigative team worked at the scene.
