The National Bank of Belarus will introduce a new 200-rouble banknote into circulation from June 1, 2026. The corresponding resolution was signed by National Bank Chairman Raman Halouchanka.
The issuance is being carried out as part of the planned update of the design and security features of the 2009-series banknotes, as well as the replacement of worn and damaged notes. The updated banknote will continue the series of already redesigned 5-, 10-, 20-, 50- and 100-rouble notes issued in 2019–2022.
The new banknote design will be presented at a later date.
