Belarusian Railway is adding extra trains and increasing the number of seats on popular routes ahead of the new academic year.
Additional trains and coupled train sets will operate on Aug. 30 and 31 on the Minsk-Brest, Minsk-Homiel, Minsk-Mahiliou and Minsk-Mazyr routes.
On Aug. 30, trains No. 668 Brest-Minsk, No. 685 Homiel-Minsk and No. 691/692 Minsk-Mahiliou-Minsk will be added.
On Aug. 31, additional trains No. 743/746 Minsk-Mahiliou-Minsk, No. 653 Minsk-Brest, No. 690 Minsk-Homiel and No. 693/638 Minsk-Homiel-Minsk will operate. Trains No. 874/873 Minsk-Mazyr-Minsk and No. 737/738 Minsk-Brest-Minsk will operate with coupled train sets that day.
In addition, from Aug. 24 through Thursday, an additional interregional business-class train No. 710 Minsk-Homiel will operate. In the opposite direction, train No. 715 Homiel-Minsk will operate with a coupled train set during this period.
As Belarusian Railway noted, the additional measures were introduced based on monitoring of demand for passenger services. Information on schedules and fares is available on the railway’s website, in the “BCh. My Train” mobile app or by calling the contact center at 105.
