A second road accident involving a route minibus occurred in Minsk. In the first case, a truck crashed into the minibus after colliding with a passenger car.
In the second incident, according to preliminary information, the crash was caused by a dangerous manoeuvre by a passenger vehicle.
“This afternoon, a 27-year-old driver of a Nissan travelling along Arloŭskaja Street, near building No. 26, according to preliminary information, failed to yield while changing lanes to a Mercedes route minibus, creating an emergency situation. The driver of the latter, attempting to avoid a collision, left the roadway and struck a lighting pole,” the Minsk City Executive Committee traffic police department said.
Five passengers of the minibus were taken to medical facilities for examination. The driver of the minibus declined transportation to hospital.
