Lawn Mower and Bus Collide in Minsk

In Minsk, a lawn mower entered the roadway and collided with a city bus, the Minsk City Executive Committee Traffic Police reported. The accident occurred this afternoon on Mikola Tesla Street.

A 50-year-old driver of a self-propelled Weibang lawn mower was mowing grass near the roadway and failed to maintain the necessary lateral distance. The mower partially entered the road and collided with a moving MAZ bus.

Fortunately, no one was injured, although both vehicles sustained mechanical damage. Officers from the traffic police of Minsk’s Kastrychnitski District Police Department worked at the scene.
