First Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Siarhei Lukashevich met with Libya’s Ambassador to Russia Emhemed Almaghravi. The meeting took place on March 26.
The parties discussed the current state and prospects of Belarusian-Libyan cooperation, primarily in the economic sphere, and outlined concrete steps for further development of bilateral relations.
“Following the discussion, specific steps were outlined to further expand cooperation. The talks were held in an atmosphere of trust and mutual understanding, laying a solid foundation for the qualitative expansion of bilateral ties in the foreseeable future,” the Belarusian foreign ministry said in a press release.
