Worker Killed by Sudden Ejection of Timber at Production Facility in Kruhlaye

The Investigative Committee is establishing the circumstances surrounding the death of a worker at a production facility in Kruhlaye.

The fatal workplace accident occurred on Tuesday morning at a woodworking plant. A 32-year-old worker sustained fatal injuries after timber was suddenly ejected from a beam-sawing machine.

“An investigative task force is currently working at the scene. Officers are conducting an inspection, documenting physical evidence, interviewing witnesses, and planning to order a forensic medical examination. Documentation related to occupational health and safety is also being seized,” the Investigative Committee said.
