The Polish Catholic publication Gość Niedzielny has been declared “extremist materials” in Belarus. The decision was made by the Leninsky District Court of Hrodna. The Ministry of Information’s corresponding list includes the publication’s website and its accounts on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.

The following have also been declared “extremist”:

  • the Telegram channel “Govorit Vitebsk,”
  • the Telegram bots “«Ananіmny zvarot da adminu chatu :)»,” “Bot dyiaspory u Krakave,” and “GULAG.”
  • It should be recalled that in Belarus, extremism charges are used to persecute opponents of Lukashenka and dissent more broadly.
