The Polish Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) published data on insured foreigners as of the end of July 2026. The number of Belarusians increased compared with May.
At the end of July, 144,414 Belarusian citizens were registered in Poland’s social security system. Compared with June, the number of Belarusian nationals increased by 429.
Overall, nearly 1.351 million foreigners were registered with ZUS at the end of July. The total number of insured foreigners increased by nearly 9,000 compared with June.
Ukrainian citizens remain the largest group of foreigners working in Poland. Just over 909,000 were registered with ZUS, an increase of 8,000 from June. Belarusians rank second. Indian citizens are third, with 25,700 people.
