On Aug. 21, Russia struck a shopping center in Kryvyi Rih. The drone attack was carried out in two waves. The second strike hit rescuers who were working at the site after the first strike.
“The Russians carried out an absolutely cynical and despicable strike on an ordinary shopping center in Kryvyi Rih. The attack drones struck in two waves: half an hour after the first hit and fire, there was a second strike on emergency services”, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported.
As of 6:20 p.m., five people were known to have been killed. Another 91 people were injured, including six children. Of those injured, 21 are in serious condition, Kryvyi Rih Defense Council Chairman Oleksandr Vilkul reported.
