Forecasters have issued a red weather alert for southeastern Belarus.
“On Aug. 22 (Saturday), daytime temperatures in the southeast of the country will reach +35 to +36°C, with +30 to +34°C in some areas,” the warning said.
At the same time, an orange weather alert will be in effect across the country tomorrow. It has been issued because of thunderstorms and strong wind gusts, with maximum speeds reaching 27 meters per second.
