The State Control Committee has opened a criminal case against two entrepreneurs who owned truck service stations and spare parts stores. They are suspected of large-scale tax evasion.
The case stems from a tax optimization scheme.
“The commercial structure operated a nationwide retail network of 30 stores and service stations for грузовых автомобилей. The level of revenue did not allow the use of the simplified taxation system. However, the company’s owners found a way out. To illegally minimize taxes, they arranged for the registration of two companies in Minsk that used the simplified taxation system,” the State Control Committee said.
The revenue was distributed between the main company and the additionally created entities.
As a result, according to the authorities, since 2022 the company underpaid more than 1.2 million rubles in taxes.
“The damage caused to the state has been fully compensated by the suspects. A preliminary investigation is underway,” the committee added.
