On May 5, Russia carried out strikes on central Kramatorsk and Zaporizhzhia. At least 12 people were reported killed in Zaporizhzhia and five in Kramatorsk.
Russia struck Zaporizhzhia with guided aerial bombs. At least 12 people were killed and 16 injured, said Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia regional administration.
“The enemy attacked several enterprises in Zaporizhzhia with guided bombs. Cars, a shop and an enterprise are on fire — these are the consequences of the attack on the city,” Fedorov wrote.
Three high-explosive aerial bombs were dropped on Kramatorsk, hitting the city centre.
“As of now, at least five people are known to have been injured and five killed,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote on Telegram.
