Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune may visit the Belarusian capital, Minsk. This was announced during a meeting with Aliaksandr Lukashenka by Algeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs Ahmed Attaf.
“The President of Algeria will work actively to implement the previously reached agreement to visit Belarus in the very near future,” he said, according to Lukashenka’s press service.
According to Attaf, Tebboune conveyed three messages to Lukashenka.
“The first is a reaffirmation of his deep friendship and high regard for your work, Mr. President. The second is his readiness and commitment to work shoulder to shoulder with you to elevate bilateral relations. The third is his high assessment of the strong momentum in bilateral relations that has been observed since the meeting of the two countries’ leaders in Algeria in December 2025,” he said.
