Lithuanian border guards recorded no attempts to cross illegally from Belarus over the past 24 hours. At the same time, 32 people were stopped on the Latvian section of the border, while the Polish authorities had also reported no attempted illegal crossings the previous day. The figures are based on updated data from the Lithuanian State Border Guard Service (VSAT).

Since the beginning of 2026, Lithuanian border guards have prevented 1,056 migrants from entering the country illegally by attempting to cross the border from Belarus outside designated checkpoints.

VSAT notes that data on the number of migrants denied entry into Lithuania and Latvia are updated daily by 9:00 a.m., while Polish statistics are published with a slight delay.
