Ukraine may begin deploying its domestically produced ballistic missiles as early as this autumn. According to Reuters, Iryna Terekh, chief executive of Fire Point, said the FP-7 missile has already completed about 15 test launches. It is currently undergoing certification by Ukraine’s Defense Ministry, a process expected to be completed in the coming weeks.

Fire Point expects the FP-7 to see its first combat use in early autumn.

The company also plans to carry out the first combat launch of the FP-9 missile in late autumn.

The FP-7 has a range of 200-300 km and carries a 150 kg warhead. The FP-9 is expected to have a range of more than 800 km and a warhead weighing up to 800 kg.
