A Budget Commission has been established within the Coordination Council. It will be responsible for analyzing, monitoring and preparing opinions on the adoption and implementation of the Coordination Council’s budgetary and spending decisions.
The initiative to establish the commission was put forward by the “Latushka Coalition and For Freedom Movement”. Dzmitry Hryhalai (“Latushka Coalition and For Freedom Movement”) was elected chair. His deputy is Dzianis Herasimchyk (“Volya”).
The commission has been established to provide expert support for the Coordination Council’s budget process, including drafting the budget, analyzing its implementation, and developing recommendations to improve budget policy and financial procedures.
