Belarusian company Radar Design Bureau (KB Radar) has expanded its range of electronic warfare systems. According to the State Authority for Military Industry, the company is conducting intensive trials of a new jamming transmitter known as Tarpan.
The system is designed to generate and transmit radio interference that blocks or deceives navigation receivers using the GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou and Galileo global satellite navigation systems. According to the announcement, it is capable of disrupting satellite navigation terminals at distances of up to 50 kilometres.
