Enterprises of the State Military Industry Committee posted record export results in 2025. Sixteen new domestically produced defense items were adopted into service by the armed forces, committee chairman Dzmitry Pantus said ahead of a meeting of the committee board.
“I would note that exports of our products in 2025 were carried out to 65 countries, seven more than in the previous year. Compared with last year, a very large number of organizational measures were also undertaken to establish a regulatory and legal framework with countries that are new for us. We continued efforts to consolidate our presence in regions where we already have stable cooperation with partners. Overall, last year we managed to reach a record export level,” BelTA quoted him as saying.
Among the new products, Pantus named the MZKT 690003-021 armored personnel carrier “BTR V2,” the BM 9A33 MB combat vehicle as part of the OSA-AKM air defense system, the R-936 “AERO” VHF communications radio monitoring and jamming system, and a number of other items.
The chairman of the State Military Industry Committee added that 2025 had been an effective year for the committee, with most tasks completed.
“In terms of socio-economic development indicators, we once again achieved record figures for industrial output, exports, and a number of other areas. Special attention was paid to investments. We know well that, following the decision of the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly held recently, an additional section has appeared in the program of socio-economic development related to the country’s defense capability. There is a whole range of tasks here, including one stipulating that 50 percent of the domestic state defense order should consist of Belarusian products. Emphasis is also placed on investment growth, with a pace of around 130 percent. At present, a large number of major projects are at the implementation stage. Some of them will be completed in 2026,” he added.
