A man drowned in Kamsamolskaye Lake on Arlouskaya Street in Minsk, the Belarusian Emergencies Ministry said. Rescue services received a report of a person in distress in the water at 7:10 p.m. on Sunday.
Rescuers recovered the body of a man born in 1958 from the lake. An ambulance crew carried out resuscitation efforts, but the man was pronounced dead.
