Construction of the Wildberries logistics complex in the Great Stone industrial park is proceeding according to schedule. The company’s press service in Belarus told Minskaya Pravda.

“Wildberries continues to systematically develop its logistics infrastructure in all countries where it operates. The company stressed that the construction of warehouse facilities is proceeding in line with the approved plans, while recent media reports about accelerated construction or the possible relocation of its main logistics capacity outside Russia do not reflect the actual situation,” the publication quoted the press service as saying.

Wildberries added that such reports only create unnecessary speculation around processes that are proceeding as part of normal operations.

It should be noted that, a few days ago, Belarusian television aired an interview with the First Deputy General Director for Development of the Great Stone industrial park, Kiryl Karatseyeu, who said that construction of the Wildberries complex “is not just on schedule but is actually ahead of schedule because, unfortunately, the circumstances currently unfolding in the Russian Federation are forcing the investor to build faster.”

The comments by the marketplace’s Belarusian press service also came against the backdrop of reports in Russian media claiming that, in light of drone attacks, Wildberries is considering storing goods at the company’s warehouses in Belarus, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
