Belarus’ Council of Ministers Resolution No. 390 of Aug. 3 was published today on the National Legal Internet Portal. The resolution approves a pilot programme to compensate food exporters for part of their transportation costs.
The programme is being implemented to “create additional conditions for promoting Belarusian food products in foreign markets, including countries beyond the country’s traditional export geography.”
The list of destinations eligible for subsidies includes 55 countries. They include states in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East, including China, Israel, India, Pakistan, Oman and others.
