One of the military units of the Western Operational Command has been placed on alert to carry out assigned tasks as part of a comprehensive combat readiness inspection.
“At present, personnel are preparing weapons, military and special equipment for use, receiving and loading stocks of materiel, and preparing to carry out a march to a designated area,” the Defense Ministry reported.
As a reminder, the Defense Ministry began an inspection of the combat readiness of formations and military units on January 26. In parallel, a separate combat readiness inspection is being conducted by order of Alyaksandr Lukashenka, bypassing the Defense Ministry.
