Seven people were injured and residential buildings and warehouse infrastructure facilities were damaged in a massive drone attack on the Rostov region.
As regional Governor Yury Slyusar reported, four people, including two children, were hospitalized in Rostov-on-Don. One of the children is in serious condition. In the city’s Proletarsky district, two apartment buildings were damaged by falling drone debris. Residents are being evacuated, and a temporary accommodation center has been set up for them.
Three more people sought medical assistance in Aksai district. Drone debris was also found on the premises of warehouse facilities there, and a fire broke out in a forest belt. Private homes, including their glazing, were damaged in Bagayevsky district. No one was injured there.
One of Ozon’s logistics facilities in the Rostov region was attacked. The company said that employees had been evacuated in advance. According to preliminary information, no one was injured.
“A small fire broke out, but it was extinguished immediately. We temporarily suspended the operation of the facility so that emergency services could inspect the site and make sure that it was completely safe to be there. For now, we are not accepting deliveries from sellers here, and those already in transit are being redirected to other facilities. Because of the danger in the area where our second logistics center is located, its employees were evacuated. No one was injured. The facility is intact, but its operations have been suspended for now as a safety precaution”, the statement said.
According to an OSINT analysis by ASTRA, a DNS warehouse in Aksai at 180, Building 3, Novocherkasskoye Highway, may have been damaged during the attack. An Ozon logistics facility is located nearby.
The Rostov regional authorities said the drone threat in the region remains in effect.
