Belarusian enterprises hired more people in July than they dismissed. However, the balance for the first seven months of the year still favored dismissals. The data from Belstat point to this. The report does not include information on micro and small enterprises without departmental subordination.
A total of 94,100 people were hired in July, while 91,000 were dismissed. The number of people hired exceeded the number dismissed by 3,093.
The number of hires increased by 6.7% compared with July 2025, while dismissals rose by 9.5%.
In January-July, Belarusian enterprises hired 438,300 people and dismissed 467,200. The balance favored dismissals, with 28,900 more people dismissed than hired.

In the first seven months, more people were dismissed than hired in manufacturing (-9,939), healthcare (-7,507), transport and logistics (-5,105), information and communications (-1,305), trade (-1,582), and education (-15,527).
In January-July, the balance favored hiring in agriculture, forestry and fishing (+8,403), construction (+5,814), and public administration (+136).
