The government of Belarus has set the volume of the 2026 state order for the supply of glass waste. The resolution of the Council of Ministers was signed by Prime Minister Alyaksandr Turchyn.
According to the government’s press service, 105,270 tonnes of glass waste are to be supplied for national needs this year. Compared with 2025, the order has been reduced by 32,330 tonnes.
Hrodna Glassworks and Belresursy have been designated as customers for the supply of glass waste.
“The resolution will make it possible to provide domestic glass container manufacturers with glass waste used in their production activities to reduce production costs and increase competitiveness in domestic and foreign markets”, the press service said.
