Against the backdrop of a record month for BelGee vehicle sales in Belarus, sales of the Belarusian brand in Russia posted their first year-on-year decline in the past two years.
According to Autostat, 4,891 BelGee vehicles were sold in Russia in July, down 24.9% from the same month in 2025.
At the same time, BelGee sales in Russia increased by 38.4% year on year to 33,700 vehicles in January-July.
The Belarusian brand accounted for 4.01% of the Russian market in July and 4.61% over the first seven months of the year.
The updated BelGee X50+ crossover ranked among the 10 best-selling models on the Russian market. A total of 2,902 vehicles of this model were sold in July, bringing sales for the first seven months of the year to 10,131 units.
Russia’s new passenger car market grew by 12.2% year on year to 730,700 vehicles in the first seven months of the year. Lada remained the market leader with 181,400 vehicles sold, down 1.3% from a year earlier. It was followed by Haval (99,720 vehicles, up 29.5%), Tenet (76,550 vehicles) and Geely (45,250 vehicles, up 2.9%).
