The first Slavic Caravan through freight train arrived in Uzbekistan today. The train departed from Belarus on July 30.
According to Belarusian Railways, the train arrived at the Chukursay station of Uzbekistan Railways at 7:05 a.m. Minsk time.
The train covered a distance of about 4,000 km in less than six days, traveling through Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
“The first Slavic Caravan through freight train delivered Belarusian exports to Uzbekistan, including wood-processing products, food products and chemicals,” Belarusian Railways said.
Belarusian Railways has already dispatched a second train as part of the new service.
