Polish Border Guards Detect Four Airborne Cigarette Shipments from Belarus

Polish border guards have detected four airborne consignments of contraband cigarettes originating from Belarus, the Podlaskie Department of the Border Guard reported.

All illegal packages were found by officers from the Kuznica border post.

Two of the consignments were transported across the border using drones, while the other two arrived via meteorological balloons.

The value of the seized cigarettes is estimated at 92,000 zlotys (more than $25,000).
