Nearly 100 Migrants Attempted to Cross From Belarus Into Lithuania and Latvia on Sunday

The situation on the borders of Lithuania and Latvia with Belarus remains tense. On Sunday, border guards in the two EU countries recorded numerous attempts by migrants to cross the border.

Lithuania’s State Border Guard Service reported 33 attempted crossings, while Latvian border guards recorded 65 attempts.
