Migrants Attempted to Breach Polish Border 45 Times in Three Days

Poland’s Border Guard reported 45 attempts by migrants to illegally cross the border from Belarus between Friday and Sunday. Measures are being taken to detain two individuals, according to the agency’s brief summary.

For comparison, more than 10 crossing attempts had been recorded during the previous weekend.

On Sunday, migrants also tried to cross into Lithuania and Latvia. Lithuanian border officials reported 12 attempts, while Latvian authorities registered six cases.
