Russia launched a large-scale missile attack on Kyiv and the surrounding region today.
According to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service, one person was killed and 15 others were injured in Kyiv. Fires broke out in non-residential buildings and on the premises of an industrial enterprise in the Ukrainian capital.
In the Kyiv region, authorities have confirmed 14 deaths and 27 injuries. Warehouses and industrial facilities were targeted.
According to Ukrainian Railways, some of those killed in the Kyiv region were on a railway platform located near the logistics centers that came under attack.

Ukraine’s Air Force said Russia used 143 aerial attack weapons today, including 115 strike drones, four Zircon missiles, and 24 Iskander-M and S-400 ballistic missiles. The Kyiv region was the primary target of the attack.
Ukrainian air defenses intercepted or electronically suppressed 98 drones. Authorities recorded one missile strike and 17 drone strikes across 26 locations, while drone debris fell at six additional sites.
