Poland’s Railway Security Service detained a suspicious man at the Wrocław railway station. It turned out he was a Belarusian citizen who was not allowed to be in the Schengen area.
On 8 January, Railway Security Service officers noticed a man on the platform behaving suspiciously, who attempted to flee when he saw the patrol. A check revealed that the 34-year-old Belarusian was listed in the Schengen Information System as a person to be detained, questioned and expelled.
The detainee was handed over to the Railway Police Commissariat in Wrocław.
