The State Customs Committee announced that all trucks belonging to Lithuanian carriers located near the Benyakoni and Kamenny Loh border checkpoints have been moved to designated parking areas.
According to the committee, 1,243 trucks are now parked in secured lots:
- Bierastavitsa – 454
- Benyakoni – 193
- Katlouka – 379
- Kamenny Loh – 154
- Smarhon – 63
“There is no need for drivers to remain inside these vehicles. Appropriate living conditions have been provided at the parking areas. Movement of Lithuanian transport vehicles will only be possible once the Lithuanian authorities resume normal operations at the Medininkai and Šalčininkai border checkpoints,” the committee added.
