A total of 4.1829 million people were employed in the Belarusian economy in June. That was 22,400 more than in May. Employment had declined in April and May following growth in February and March.
The increase in employment may in part be attributable to seasonal factors. Employment also rose in June last year.
Compared with June 2025, the number of people employed in the economy increased by 33,200 over the year.
However, compared with December 2019, the number of people employed in the economy was down by 152,100. At that time, 4.335 million people were employed in the economy.
