Turkish Airlines is indeed returning to Minsk. The announcement was confirmed by the press service of Minsk National Airport.

Flights on the Istanbul–Minsk–Istanbul route will resume on Sept. 21. Turkish Airlines will operate six flights a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays: four overnight flights and two daytime flights.

“Minsk National Airport welcomes the return of the Turkish carrier to the Belarusian aviation market and recommends that passengers check the latest schedule on the airline’s official website”, the airport said.

Earlier, media outlets had already spotted tickets for the Istanbul–Minsk route in the Turkish airline’s booking system. The flight time is listed as 3 hours and 40 minutes, about two hours shorter than the duration of the equivalent Belavia flight. Turkish Airlines is likely to operate flights to Minsk via EU airspace.
