Belarusian Railways plans to install automated luggage lockers at Minsk-Passazhyrski station this year. First Deputy Head of the Belarusian Railways Passenger Service Kanstantsin Bayar said.
According to Bayar, demand for luggage storage at the capital’s railway station increased by 29% in the first half of the year. Social media users have already drawn attention to long queues during peak hours.
Bayar said the growing demand for luggage storage shows that passengers are making greater use of the station’s additional services. For this reason, Belarusian Railways plans to modernize the system by installing automated luggage lockers.
