MTZ’s exports amount to about half a billion dollars, the tractor holding’s CEO Taras Muroh said in an interview with SB.by.

“Speaking about the export structure, external shipments totaled almost half a billion dollars by the end of 2025. We expect to maintain the same level of exports this year. About 55% of shipments went to the Russian market, around 20% to non-CIS countries, and the remainder to Central Asian countries.”, he said.

According to Muroh, the Russian market is MTZ’s premium market, but it is facing financing difficulties.

“We are directly dependent on the sale of harvested grain. We know there is certain pressure on Russia regarding grain exports, so domestic difficulties with selling agricultural products, primarily grain, are also affecting the volume of new machinery purchases.

However, we consider this market to be a premium one and will continue to develop our presence there with confidence. Next in terms of sales volumes and market interest are Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. They are followed by the African and Southeast Asian markets.”, he added.
