Telecom operator MTS has announced the launch of fifth-generation mobile service. 5G is now available at 1,100 base stations in Minsk, Brest, Vitsyebsk, Homiel and Mahiliou.
The network has been deployed together with infrastructure operator beCloud. Coverage will be gradually expanded to include new areas. To access 5G, subscribers must have a device that supports this communication standard both in hardware and software for use in Belarus.
A day earlier, Life announced the start of its fifth-generation mobile service.
