Trading on the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange on Monday, Aug. 17, ended with gains for the dollar, euro and yuan. The Russian ruble declined.
The dollar rose by 0.75%, or 2.25 kopecks, to 3.0131 rubles. The last time the U.S. currency traded above 3 rubles on the exchange was in late March.
The euro rose by 1.34%, or 4.61 kopecks, to 3.4909 rubles.
The Russian ruble fell by 0.3%, or 1.07 kopecks. The exchange rate was 3.5612 Belarusian rubles per 100 Russian rubles.
The yuan gained 0.62%, or 2.79 kopecks. Ten yuan were valued at 4.4982 rubles.
