The Council of Ministers has approved a new version of the Regulations on the procedure for the participation of heavy and/or oversized vehicles in road traffic. The resolution was signed today.
According to the government’s press service, the regulations have been brought into line with the provisions of the EAEU Agreement on permissible weights, axle loads and dimensions.
As a result, in certain cases involving the movement of heavy and oversized vehicles that do not affect road safety, the permitted speed during escort has been increased to 70 km/h.
Restrictions on the width, length and total weight of cargo when heavy and oversized vehicles are accompanied by a cover vehicle and an escort vehicle have been removed.
The resolution will enter into force one month after its publication.
